The article, “Information Literacy Development and Assessment at School Level: A Systematic Review of the Literature,” examines how information literacy (IL) skills are developed and assessed within school education. Through a review of existing research, the authors highlight essential IL skills, assessment tools, and key standards. The findings reveal evolving definitions of IL, significant gaps in the current frameworks, and emphasise the need for enhanced strategies to support IL development in students from an early age.
